Q. Can I get expedited shipping?
A. We maintain a stock in Coldwater, Ohio of popular items and many of our vendors have warehouses located around the US. In many cases expedited shipping is possible. It is best to call us at 800-837-3818 to make sure the items is in stock and that it can still make the UPS truck.
Q. Can I return the item?
A. Most items can be returned to us with no stocking fee if the item is unused, in original packaging and can be sold as new. You would need to pay shipping both ways. Certain items cannot be returned due to manufacturer policies. It is best to call us at 800-837-3818 with questions about the return policy before ordering.
Q. What is free shipping?
A. Free shipping is to any address UPS ships to in the 48 states for items that can ship via UPS. For heavy items, the items must be shipped to a commercial address. Please note that truck lines add an additional fee to residential areas. If the item is considered to be "free shipping" it will state it in the description.
Q. Why are there extra shipping charges on truck shipments?
A. Commercial truck carriers are set up to make quick deliveries. There only job is to get the product back to then end of the truck and the customer is required to unload the product. Most truck lines will provide a liftgate delivery for an extra fee. This fee is only to lower the product to the ground. You must move it from there. Almost all truck lines charge extra fees for residential deliveries and limited access places such as military, schools, etc. If you have any questions about these extra fees feel free to call us.
Q. How do I get a UPS quote?
A. Add the item you are wanting a quote on to the cart. On the upper right-hand side click on the cart. Enter your ship to state and zip code and click calculate.
Q. How do I get a freight quote?
A. I most cases you can do this the same way you do the UPS quotes noted above. However, most freight items require you to select whether you need a lift gate at delivery or if it is a limited access address before you can add the item to the cart. You can also call us directly at 800-837-3818 or email us the item you are wanting along with you ship to address and we will be glad to get you a freight quote.
Q. Why does the UPS calculator not show my shipping cost?
A. The item in the cart is either to large to ship via UPS or it is free shipping. This may also happen if you are outside the US or have entered the wrong state and or zip code.
Q. What is a commercial address?
A. A commercial address is a business address. LTL carriers have very strict rules on this. They will exclude anything with a house on the property no questions asked. They also consider farms, schools, churchs, construction sites, military bases, car dealers and even rural commercial addresses to be limited access. If you are questioning whether or not your address is limited access please give us a call and we will be glad to help.

Q. Does Mile-X take customer satisfaction seriously?
A. Yes, we strive for customer satisfaction. We will work with you and our vendors to resolve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Q. Will I be charged sales tax?
A. Mile-X Equipment, Inc. collects Sales Tax in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Verginia, and Wisconsin at this time. If you are exempt from Sales Tax in any of these States, you must provide us with a valid Sales Tax Exemption form. A vendor's number or Federal ID does NOT qualify. The State Tax Departments are constantly looking for new ways to collect sales tax, and, at times, require a manufacturer to collect sales tax from Mile-X Equipment, Inc. after the sale is made. By purchasing on this website, the buyer agrees to reimburse Mile-X Equipment, Inc. for any sales tax collected due to the sale. The buyer agrees that Mile-X Equipment, Inc. will either charge the credit card used for the sale, or if paid by other means than a credit card, the buyer will pay Mile-X Equipment, Inc. the sales tax due.
Q. What is the warranty on the products we sell?
A. Mile-X offers only manufacturer's warranties at this time.
Q. Does Mile-X offer any discounts?
A. Mile-X offers quantity price breaks, government/school discounts and free shipping on some products. We offer Net 30 to all government agencies.
Q. What types of payment does Mile-X accept?
A. Mile-X accepts Visa/Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, and cashiers check/money orders and wire transfers. We also accept personal checks, but must clear before shipping items to customer.
