Merrick M998088 Folding/Tilt Engine Stand

The Fold-Up Engine Stand is another of the great "Merrick Originals" line of specialty tools. Merrick Originals Specialty Tools were designed and built by people who know auto restoration projects. We designed these tools first because we needed a tool to do the job and found that no one made it! Once we created the tool for ourselves, we decided that it might make life a whole lot easier for others and began offering our unique "Merrick Originals" line of tools. These are durable, steel tools, that will last a lifetime in your shop or garage. We are proud to put the Merrick name on them, and are equally proud that serious auto lovers have chosen to put them in their shops, garages, and businesses.

The Fold-up Engine Stand is a tremendous improvement over traditional engine stands in two important ways:

1) It tips-up to make post-crankshaft installation operations much easier. Installing the pistons and connecting rods and engine painting are just a few of the operations that you will find become so much easier in the tip-up position.

2) When not in use, it folds-up to save you valuable floor space in your shop or garage. Two of the support legs fold up against the third leg (with casters still in contact with the ground for easy rolling. Then fold the support stalk down and the entire engine stand can be hung on a wall, or leaned up against a wall out of your way.

Makes traditional engine stands obsolete!
