Order Turnaround Time
All orders are processed on the SAME business day if they are received BEFORE 2 pm (EST). If an order is received AFTER 2 pm (EST), it will be processed on the NEXT business day (our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday). Most items usually ship within 24-48 hours from our warehouse or the manufacturers' warehouse.
Online Ordering
Mile-X.com is an internet-based company. The fastest way to order, in most cases, is online. There are some products that cannot be purchased online. They will state "Call for Pricing". You can also email for quotes on those products.
Cancellation Policy
In most cases, as long as the item has not shipped, it can be canceled. If the item has shipped, you should contact us, and we will have to further check on the item and with the manufacturer. For any item that has shipped, upon cancellation, you will be charged any shipping cost incurred. In some cases, the manufacturer will charge the customer a restocking fee or will not take the item back at all... Please contact us for more details.

Pricing
Mile-X Equipment, Inc. advises that all prices are subject to change. If a price has changed, you will be notified by a customer service representative of the change prior to the order being shipped.
Sales Tax
Mile-X Equipment, Inc. collects Sales Tax in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin at this time. If you are exempt from Sales Tax in any of these States, you must provide us with a Valid Sales Tax Exemption form. A vendor's number or Federal ID does NOT qualify. The State Tax Departments are constantly looking for new ways to collect sales tax and, at times, require a manufacturer to collect sales tax from Mile-X Equipment, Inc. after the sale is made. By purchasing on this website, the buyer agrees to reimburse Mile-X Equipment, Inc. for any sales tax collected due to the sale. The buyer agrees that Mile-X Equipment, Inc. will either charge the credit card used for the sale or if paid by other means than a credit card, the buyer will pay Mile-X Equipment, Inc. the sales tax due.
Manufacturer Collected Sales Tax
Many of our manufacturers now collect sales tax on orders that are drop-shipped to various states. To find out if your state is subject to having Sales Tax collected on the item you want to purchase, you can find the information of collected states in most instances at the bottom of the product page located under "Important Information". You can also call us at 1-800-837-3818 to determine if you are subject to sales tax on your item(s). Please note the States of collection are subject to change per the manufacturer’s requirements.
Payment Policy
Mile-X Equipment, Inc. accepts all major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover, and MasterCard) as well as personal and business checks, certified checks, money orders, wire transfers, and PayPal. Orders placed by personal or business checks will be held until the funds clear the bank (approximately 7 business days). Credit card transactions for items shipping from our warehouse will not be processed until the item is ready to ship. All orders drop shipping from the supplier or manufacturer will be charge at the time the order is entered with the supplier. This is due to many authorization issues with debit cards. Back ordered equipment purchases shipping from our warehouse can be held and charged before shipping. More popular items on backorder may require upfront payment to be placed on the back-order list. All drop ship orders will be charged when they are placed. Please note all PayPal payments are collected when the order is placed and will only be credited if the order is canceled. Is Mile-X Equipment, Inc. a secure site?
Mile-X Equipment, Inc. is verified secure. As with any eCommerce store, you should always check to make sure the locked padlock is shown on the lower right portion (top right on Internet Explorer 7 or greater) of the screen when you are placing orders online.
Shipping Rates
UPS Shipping rates are calculated based on actual and dimensional weights. To find your rate, add the item to your cart and then enter your state and zip code in the shopping cart. If your total UPS order is over the allowed shipping weight the system will calculate it as LTL freight. If received LTL freight shipments is an issue please contact us for options.
Upon checkout, UPS defaults to your shipping manager. Mile-X Equipment, Inc. reserves the right to ship either UPS, FedEx, USPS or LTL.
Transit Times
Transit times are not guaranteed by Mile-X Equipment regardless of the carrier. If you require expedited and or guaranteed delivery on your order, please contact us for a rate quote, as there are additional fees for those services. The carrier is then responsible for those guarantees. If they fail to deliver on time, you must file a claim with that carrier. The carriers will not return freight cost if guaranteed delivery or expedited delivery is not requested at the time of shipment.
International Customers
Mile-X does not ship freight prepaid, prepay & add or collect internationally. However, customers are able to use their own UPS, FedEx, DHL, or TNT accounts, in which we will ship internationally. We will also work with the customers freight forwarder and or broker to arrange shipping. All customs, taxes, duties, and any other fees that apply are the sole responsibility of the customer. If the items are too large to ship via one of these options or the customer does not have a carrier account, then the customer would have to arrange all transportation with a broker/freight forwarder for shipping. Mile-X will be glad to work with your broker/freight forwarder to make sure the shipping process is smooth; however, we will not prepay the freight for any reason. Please note that Mile-X will only supply commercial invoices, SLI forms, and legalization forms when they apply. We do not offer certificates of origin, certificates of conformance, or any other documents not required by the government for export. Not all items can be exported.
Freight Policies
All listed freight charges are based on shipment to a destination in the 48 U.S. contiguous states. Additional charges will be applied to shipments outside of the 48 U.S. states. You will be notified prior to being charged additional fees. If there is a house on the property, you should specify the order as residential. Please Note that the freight carriers charge a residential/limited access fee if there is a house on the property as well as other areas that fall under residential/limited access delivery. Including schools, military bases, prisons, construction sites, apartments, parking garages, government buildings, farms, churches, car dealerships, businesses in residential areas, any rural address outside of city limits. Deliveries that require the carrier to deliver in anything other than a standard 53” trailer would also fall under a limited access delivery.
Mile-X Equipment, Inc. is NOT responsible for any residential delivery fees that are not pre-arranged. Lift gate delivery is an option on most of our equipment that ships truck. If this is not selected at the time of the order but is requested at the time of delivery you will be charged for this service. Note that the actual amount charged on our site may be lower than at the time of delivery. Mile-X Equipment, Inc. will take no responsibility for additional charges involved with the unloading of equipment.
Please make sure that the shipping address is correct. FedEx, UPS and LTL Carriers charge a fee for incorrect shipping addresses. If you have an incorrect shipping address, Mile-X Equipment, Inc. is charged an address correction fee. By ordering on www.mile-x.com, you agree that if Mile-X Equipment, Inc. is charged this fee, you will accept the charges.
Damaged Shipments
For your protection, inspect your shipment thoroughly prior to signing the freight bill after a delivery is made. If the shipment is damaged, note the damage on the freight bill and contact us immediately. Failure to do so will impact our ability to file a claim with the carrier and could result in additional charge for the customer.
RETURN POLICY
Please contact us prior to returning an item!
All returned merchandise will require authorization and freight to/from the manufacturer is the customers' responsibility. The item must be unused, in the same packaging and must be in a new, resalable condition. Credit will NOT be issued until merchandise has been returned and Mile-X Equipment, Inc. has received credit. Restocking fees vary by manufacturer. Contact us for additional information on restocking fees.
Return of electronic equipment must be authorized prior to its return. If the equipment has been used, even if only once, it is NOT eligible to be returned. If the equipment has been registered or any rebate/promo items have been claimed, it is NOT returnable. Software discs are not returnable. All electronics equipment returned for anything other than repair or replacement will be subject to a restocking fee and will be credited less the cost of shipping that may have been included. We respect your privacy. Any and all information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, disclosed to third parties or reused without your permission. Any information you provide to us will be held with care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.
Warranties
All products are warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials and workmanship to the extent of the manufacturer’s warranty only. No other warranty is implied.
