What are the terms of “free shipping”?

Free shipping is to any address UPS ships to in the 48 states for items that can ship via UPS. Heavy items must be shipped to a commercial address. Please note that truck lines add an additional fee to residential areas. If the item is considered to be "free shipping," it will be stated in the description.

Why are there extra shipping charges on truck shipments?

Almost all truck lines charge extra fees for liftgate delivery. Learn more about extra shipping charges on truck shipments here.

Can I get expedited shipping?

We maintain a stock in Coldwater, Ohio, of popular items and many of our vendors have warehouses located around the US. In many cases, expedited shipping is possible. It is best to call us at 800-837-3818 to make sure the item is in stock and that it can still make the UPS truck.

What is the difference between a UPS & freight shipping quote?

For a UPS quote: Add the item you want a quote on to the cart. On the upper right-hand side, click on the cart. Enter your ship to state and zip code and click calculate. 

For a freight quote: In most cases, you can do this the same way you do the UPS quotes noted above. However, most freight items require you to select whether you need a lift gate at delivery or if it is a limited access address before you can add the item to the cart. Learn More Here

What is a commercial address?

A commercial address is a business address. LTL carriers have very strict rules on this. Learn more about what a commercial address is here.

Can I return the item?

Most items can be returned to us with no stocking fee if they are unused or in original packaging and can be sold as new. You would need to pay shipping both ways. Certain items cannot be returned due to manufacturer policies. It is best to call us at 800-837-3818 with questions about the return policy before ordering.

Will I be charged sales tax when ordering equipment online?

Mile-X Equipment, Inc. collects sales tax in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin at this time. If you are exempt from sales tax in any of these states, you must provide us with a valid Sales Tax Exemption form. Learn more about being charged sales tax and exemptions here.

Does Mile-X offer a product warranty?

Mile-X offers only manufacturer's warranties at this time.

Does Mile-X offer any discounts?

What is MAP pricing?

MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Price. Although some manufacturers have this policy in place, it doesn't mean that we, as a distributor, are required to sell the products at that price, we only must advertise at that price. This is a major benefit for you, our customer!  

It means that we are able to offer a better price on many items if you just give us a call or shoot us an email! One of our knowledgeable sales team members would be happy to assist you.
