The X-Rack scissors alignment lift gives a whole new meaning to state-of-the-art. The XR-12AE is equipped with features such as an auto-leveling system, integrated rear slip-plates, full-floating turn plates, extendable approach ramps, drop-down front tire stops and full adjustable turntable pockets. The X-Rack has a 12,000 pound lifting capacity and a long runway surface for accommodating roll-back alignment systems.

Description

Add versatility and productivity to your alignment bay with this 12,000-pound capacity scissor alignment lift that takes up less space than conventional four-post styles and fits into narrower bays. The lift easily accommodates dual-wheeled and extended wheelbase trucks.

Two versions available, surface mount and flush mount. Flush mount installations provide zero drive-on approach, easy for the lowest profile vehicle.

This heavy-duty scissors alignment lift brings safety, durability and ruggedness to a whole new level.

The long list of design features include:

  • Multi-level locking positions - equipped with multiple height locking positions. A convenient push-button pneumatic safety lock control releases all locks simultaneously. Aircraft-quality stainless steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders automatically engage the locks continuously when raising the lift. For added safety a secondary lock system acts as a slack-cable device automatically engaging in the event of an unexpected cable failure.
  • Automatic safety locks - aircraft-quality stainless steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders release all four locks simultaneously with the simple push of a button. The spring-loaded safety locks automatically engage continuously when raising the lift. For added safety a secondary lock system acts as a slack-cable device automatically engaging in the event of an unexpected cable failure. Lifting cables, airlines, safety latches and sheaves are all fully enclosed within lift structure.
  • Full-floating, super-duty front truck turnplates - Quickly and easily measure the front end alignment on cars and trucks. Easy-to-read scale helps you read caster, camber and steering alignment. Dual, full-circumference rows of Delrin full-floating ball bearing design for full wheel movement. Delrin bridges the gap between metals and ordinary plastics with a unique combination of strength, stiffness, hardness, dimensional stability, toughness, fatigue resistance, solvent and fuel resistance, abrasion resistance, low wear and low friction. Plates adjust 0-45 degrees left and right.
  • Full-floating, flush-mount rear slip plates - durable "balls-up" flush mount full-floating slip plates feature oversize roller balls that rotate on the under side of each slip plate and not on the deck surface for maintenance free and reliable performance.
  • Retractable work steps - hidden, yet easy-to-reach, retractable work step under the front of each runway for easy access to under hood and steering wheel adjustments.
  • Ultimate safety - large twin interlocking multi-teeth mechanical safety racks with multiple locking position.
  • Electric / hydraulic power system - each lift is designed using a maintenance-free electric hydraulic power system for ultimate dependability. Reliable console controls are conveniently located within safe easy reach. Large base-frame - heavy boxed-steel formed base frame provides solid stability. Quad cylinder design - each lift is equipped with four hydraulic cylinders for maximum performance, reliability and precise leveling. The quad cylinder design maintains constant level and safety using cross flow hydraulic technology, pressure flow control, and integrated velocity fuses. Our industrial-grade hydraulic cylinders feature a one-piece, pilot fitted, machined steel piston wrapped with specially designed, pressure loaded U-cup piston seals, backups and wear bands that virtually eliminates any fluid bypass. The micro-smooth chrome-rod is machined from high yield, ground & polished C-1045/50 micro-alloy steel and plated to a minimum of .001½ diametrically, to ensure superior cylinder operation and life. Specially designed, high durometer, mechanically loaded rod seals virtually eliminate rod seal leakage and a specially formulated abrasion resistant urethane rod wiper provides exclusion protection. The welded cylinder body is made from high yield-strength steel tubing produced to exceed ASTM specifications. This combination of superb base material and superior processing ensures straight, smooth and long duty life cylinders. An integrated flow restrictor provides a controlled descent in the case of an unexpected hose rupture.
  • Durable powder coat finish - a durable powder coat finish provides a extremely durable finish which can withstand even the harshest environmental or chemical conditions. Unlike other companies that claim to powder coat, we take pride in our meticulous 10-step process. First, all parts are visually inspected then sandblasted. After, the parts are washed in our five-stage phosphate tanks that can accommodate parts up to 25 long. Once cleaned, theyre immediately dried, to avoid rust production then outgassed. Outgassing is a process we take pride in which pre-bakes the parts in a curing oven, reducing the possibility of blemishes that may be hiding in the pores of the metal. If not properly outgassed, imperfections in the metal may bubble during the curing process and most likely cause chips in the powder. After the parts are washed and outgassed, any surfaces and/or threaded holes that need to be masked or plugged are done so with high-temperature masking tape and silicone plugs. Next, the parts are given a quick thinner wipe to remove any light debris or fingerprints then hung on an electrostatically grounded conveyor line. The powder is then applied using an electrostatic spray gun. The powder "sticks" to the parts similar to how dust sticks to a television screen. Once the parts are powder coated, the carts are rolled into our curing oven and baked at 400 degrees for 15 for 45 minutes.
  • Integrated design - Hydraulic plumbing, airlines, safety latches and wiring are fully enclosed to better protect against the elements.
  • Non-skid runways - sure grip even when the runway surface is wet or oily.
  • Longer approach ramps - these approach ramps were designed a little longer to help when loading low ground clearance vehicles. They also feature built-in, pull-out extensions providing even more clearance for low ride height vehicles. To accommodate garage door closing when it comes time to lock the shop up, weve purposely desgined the approach ramps with hinges so they can be folded up and stowed out of the way to minimize floor space. A little bit that makes a big difference.
